On March 6th, we co-hosted a seminar together with the Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the topic: "Controlled Exit from Business and Planning the Next Chapter of Life".
Plenty of valuable insights, plenty of food for thought — but one message rang out clearest of all:
💡 Start early — both with exit planning and with future wealth management.
Most business owners only start thinking about an exit when it's already knocking at the door. And wealth management only becomes a priority once the money is sitting in the account. You can make it work under pressure. But will it be the outcome you truly wanted?
Good decisions need time. Structures, tax planning, and clarity about the life you truly want to live — none of these can be rushed.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our outstanding speakers for their contributions to the day:
🔹 Tiina Sõber (Prudentia) – Business valuation and preparing a company for sale
🔹 Avo Kaasik (Pedersen & Partners) – Smooth management transition
🔹 Tõnis Tamme (TRINITI Estonia) – Transaction legalities
🔹 Pentti Nokelin (Suomen Yrityskaupat Oy) – Finnish experience in SME sales
🔹 Elisabet Visnapuu (SEB Estonia) – Life after the sale: wealth management principles and pitfalls
🔹 Joshua James Viinalass (Arco Vara AS) – Investing in residential real estate
Special thanks to moderator Illar Kaasik, who kept the day flowing smoothly!
The discussions that emerged were lively and substantive — we hope every participant left with at least one thought that helps them see their next steps more clearly. 🙏
