BKRR sells 100% of shares to a consortium on investors
A consortium of investors led by New Energy Group acquires Bolderājas Kuģu Remonta Rūpnīca to commence operations in Freeport of Riga.
September 2026. Prudentia Riga is pleased to announce that it has acted as the exclusive financial adviser to the shareholders of Bolderājas Kuģu Remonta Rūpnīca, SIA in the sale of 100% of shares to a consortium of investors led by New Energy Group, UAB. For New Energy Group, a Lithuanian investor active in the renewable energy and utilities sectors, the acquisition adds a maritime services business to its portfolio and marks its entry into the Latvian market.
About the company
Bolderājas Kuģu Remonta Rūpnīca, founded in 1994, is a ship repair yard located in Riga on the left bank of the Daugava River and one of the leading ship repair facilities in the Freeport of Riga. The company handles various types of ship repair work and operates a unique floating dry dock, enabling it to service vessels of a wide range of sizes. In 2025, Bolderājas Kuģu Remonta Rūpnīca reported revenues of 7.14 million euros and EBITDA of 0.85 million euros.
