Artificial intelligence has brought significant time savings in data collection and processing, writes Prudentia managing partner Illar Kaasik in response to Äripäev's opinion leaders survey.
At Prudentia Advisory, a financial advisory firm, we have been using artificial intelligence since the beginning of 2025. We started with simpler tasks such as data collection, article writing, and basic design work. From the start of 2026, we have also been using Claude for company valuations, building related models, and preparing sales materials. We have also used AI for drafting and analysing simpler contracts.
Äripäev asked opinion leaders: what turn has AI brought to your working life?
Of course, one must be careful when using AI, as errors can occur in some cases — either due to the user's lack of skill in operating the model, or due to issues with the rapidly improving models themselves. Errors often arise because the user has not known how to use the model correctly.
Two years ago, there was more scepticism or resistance towards AI in our company; today, there is not a single colleague who does not use it daily. The team's experience with AI improves with each passing month.
Having studied at the Faculty of Mathematics at the University of Tartu, I consider the arrival of AI to be a significant development in the field of IT technologies. The main benefit that can be highlighted from Prudentia Advisory's experience is the time saved through reduced hours spent on data collection and processing. Time, as we know, is money. I dare say that today we do twice as much work in the same time.
